Sick bay: Sorry to report that SINBAD (real name David Adkins) has suffered a stroke. He's 64-years-old, and his family, which released the news, says they're hopeful he'll be OK and is “beginning his road to recovery." Sinbad is married to his wife, MEREDITH, and although they divorced in 1992, they remarried ten years later. They have two children. You probably remember him best from the sitcoms “A Different World” and “The Sinbad Show.”
Bad news: a new report from the FBI says hate crimes in the US rose to their highest level in 12 years --7,314 of them reported last year, up from 7,120 in 2018. Some 51 people were killed during the hate crimes last year, including the 22 murdered in that El Paso Walmart massacre.
Sad news: The folks at Marvel Studios say the upcoming "Black Panther" sequel due in 2022 will not have a digital double for the late CHADWICK BOSEMAN, who passed away this past August. Executive producer VICTORIA ALONSO said "We are taking a little time to see how we return to the story and what we do to honor this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, in reality."
