My guess is men will say "I'll have to fly British Airways in the future" because the London Sun has reported that one of its stewardesses was apparently working as a prostitute who offers “adult entertainment” during flights --and even sells her underwear to passengers.
The stewardess posts pix on social media, and claims she often wears no underwear during flights... or sells them to passengers for $33. Of course, without a photo of her face, the British Airways management is having a difficult time trying to identify her since they say “It is shocking dereliction of duty and not the image BA wants of its cabin crew.” Duh!
How about a movie about former President BARACK OBAMA starring rapper DRAKE? Daily Variety says he's given his “stamp of approval” to the project, telling one reporter “Drake has, more importantly, I think, my household’s stamp of approval. I suspect Malia and Sasha would be just fine with it” as well. No word on any movie company interested in the project ...yet.
While we're on the movie beat, ANN WILSON has said Amazon is putting together a film biography on the group HEART, which will begin with sisters Ann and NANCY's childhood and their rise to fame. Variety reports the script has been written, but the casting and filming for the movie is still on hold because of the pandemic.
The folks who put together the film, "Napoleon Dynamite" back in 2004 will be reuniting for a charity broadcast on YouTube to get funds for The Hunger Project. JON HEDER (who played Napoleon Dynamite), along with EFREN RAMIREZ, JON GRIES, TINA MAJORINO, HAYLIE DUFF and SHONDRELLA AVERY will spend some time reminiscing about the movie this Friday --and spend some time blue-skying about where their characters might be today. Check it out Friday on YouTube, and you can donate some money.
Sorry to report that DAVE PROWSE, who played Darth Vader in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, passed away Saturday aged 85. A former bodybuilder from England, he did not speak in the role, which was voiced by JAMES EARL JONES. MARK HAMILL, who co-starred with him as Luke Skywalker, said he was "so sad" to hear the news, and the family of the late actor PETER MAYHEW, who played Chewbacca, posted a picture of the pair on Twitter with R2-D2 actor KENNY BAKER, who died in 2016. See it here.
