TV Show of the day: CBS has announced that OPRAH WINFREY will be interviewing MEGHAN MARKLE and PRINCE HARRY on Sunday, March 7th. As you probably know, the fun couple just announced they were having a second child over the weekend. The interview will also be the couple's first sit-down since their engagement. It probably wasn't as difficult getting the interview as you might imagine, since Oprah actually lives in the same neighborhood as Meghan and Harry in Southern California. Just the thought of them running into each other in the local 7-11 is a funny thought --even if they both have somebody else to do their errands... You KNOW you wanna watch.
Sorry to hear that "Jeopardy!" five-time champion BRAYDON SMITH died unexpectedly last week. He was just 24-years-old, according to his mother, who released no details about the cause of death. The Las Vegas guy won $117,798 on the show, over six episodes, with his final appearance taking place during ALEX TREBEK's final week on the air.
The Coronavirus Pandemic is a problem for lots of us --not the least of which is the city of New Orleans, which is expecting big losses this year during Mardi Gras. City authorities have said all bars in the city would be closed for five days --starting with the Friday before Mardi Gras through Fat Tuesday itself, which is today (Tuesday, February 16th). The parades have been cancelled, and all liquor sales are not allowed in the French Quarter, either for the past five days. The city is reportedly losing around $130 million in visitor dollars per week.
While we're talking about Coronavirus, a new study from Israel reports that their Pfizer vaccination program is 94-percent effective in preventing COVID infections. The result is a confirmation of the manufacturer's trials with test groups.
COVID Show biz report: Former “Jersey Shore” star NICOLE “SNOOKI” POLIZZI revealed over the weekend that she's tested positive for COVID-19, and has been isolating herself from her family, since her husband, JIONNI LaVALLE and her three children have tested negative. She says she's “hiding out” in her bedroom in order to keep them safe.
Fans of the movie "Silence of the Lambs" have a "must visit" location --the house used by the movie shoot where FBI Agent Clarice Starling finally caught Buffalo Bill in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania, has been turned into a bed and breakfast. The owner, CHRIS ROWAN, told a local paper that he plans to renovate parts of the home to match the film: “With my background as an art director and prop stylist, I plan to recreate the well, have it fabricated and installed,” he said. “I’m not going to dig into the earth, but I want to install something along the lines of the film and give fans a pretty unique photo opportunity.” Prospective visitors can enter a contest to be among the first to visit at BuffaloBillsHouse.com through February 26th.
