Congrats to ALEC and wife HILARIA BALDWIN, who gave birth to the couple's sixth child yesterday. Hilaria posted a picture of them all on Instagram with the caption "7" --meaning all six of their children and Alec's 25-year-old daughter, Ireland. In case you were wondering, there's:
--the newborn (no name yet)
--Eduardo, 5 months old
--Romeo, 2 years old
--Leonardo Ángel Charles, 4 years old
--Rafael Thomas, 5 years old
--Carmen Gabriela, 7 years old
and Ireland.
Hilaria and Alec have been married since 2012.
Ever got turned down for that custom license plate you wanted? The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles rejected 462 plates last year, largely for profanity or sexually explicit phrases. Some of the rejected plates referred to the COVID pandemic (F U COV1D), others are just what you'd expect --politics, sex and, well, you get the drift. Here's a few:
--GRBNASS
--MVEBTCH
--VEGANAF
--F U BIDEN
--IML8AF
--TIRED AF
--FELON
--DOODIE
Find all of them HERE, if you're so inclined.Question for listeners: Ever been rejected for a personalized license plate? And why --if you can keep it clean!
Movie news: SPIKE LEE will be directing a new documentary on the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 for HBO. The film will reportedly be done in several parts and show how New Yorkers have recovered from not only the attack, but also the coronovirus pandemic as well. Spike says "With over 200 interviews, we dig deep into what makes NYC the greatest city on this God’s earth."
COVID News: The White House says states will begin getting the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine as early as today (Tuesday) --and dole out all 3.9 million doses by the end of the week. The rest of the J&J vaccines --all 16 million shots-- won’t reportedly be shipped until later in the month. The distribution will be by population --if a state has 5 percent of the population, it'll get 5 percent of the vaccine.
Vacation news: What would it take to get you to book a vacation at a space hotel? Well, according to the London Daily Mail, a company called the Orbital Assembly Corporation has decided to build the world's first space hotel, complete with restaurants, a movie theatre, a spa and rooms for up to 400 guests. The project --called the Voyager Station-- is supposed to be started in 2025 and possibly could be finished by 2027. It'll look like a large wheel and rotate in order to generate some artificial gravity for the guests. No word on what it might cost to book a room --or how long you'd have to stay before returning back to the Earth. With the guys at SpaceX doing the ferrying back and forth with their reusable rockets, it might be cheaper than you'd think.
Fast food #1: The folks at Reese’s have put out a new Peanut Butter Cup --without any chocolate. With good reason, they've dubbed it the Ultimate Peanut Butter Lovers Cup, which have a 100 percent peanut butter candy-flavored shell replacing the standard chocolate. They'll only be in stores for a limited time beginning in April.
Fast food #2: Sonic has added a couple of Oreo treats to its dessert menu until May. There's the Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Blast and Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Sundae. The new Oreo Big Scoop Cookie Dough Blast will include the regular ice cream each Blast uses, but with Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate chip cookie dough bites, and topped off with a big scoop of cookie dough that’s filled with Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate chips. The sundae will have the cookie dough pieces along with chocolate chips and layered with hot fudge. Enjoy!
