Tube talk: It'll be another five years with JIMMY FALLON on “The Tonight Show” after NBC confirmed they'd renewed the show during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation yesterday (Monday).
More Tube talk: The Wrap claims CBS may move its show, "Evil" over to the Paramount+ network... joining "Clarice" and "Seal Team," which have already been moved over.
Live On Stage: the folks who make Liquid Death canned water announced their partnership with Live Nation. You'll see TONY HAWK, WIZ KHALIFA and STEVE AOKI plugging the stuff, and when you hit a concert or festival sponsored by Live Nation this summer, you'll notice the only bottled water will be Liquid Death.
The Supreme Court announced yesterday (Monday) they would decide whether states can ban abortions. The original abortion decision in Roe v. Wade back in 1973, said it was a woman's constitutional right --and it was decided in a subsequent decision in 1992 as well. The new case is about a Mississippi law that would prohibit abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy. The decision may be overturned by the court this time, since there are more conservative justices on the court than there have been when the previous abortion rights decisions were passed.
Down in Columbia, SC, the governor (HENRY McMASTER) has signed a new bill that will require death row inmates to choose between whether they'll die in the electric chair or in front of a firing squad. FYI: Three Utah inmates have been killed by firing squad since the U.S. reinstated the death penalty back in 1977. And there's been 19 inmates electrocuted so far this century.
Question for listeners: Which would you choose? Or would you stop death penalties altogether?
