If you see somebody carrying what looks like a Lego pistol --be very concerned --it could be real. Culper Precision has been offering a Glock pistol, which it named a "Block 19," and is getting slammed for it. The Utah company says it did it to "highlight the pure enjoyment of the shooting sports," but there have been demands it stop selling it. In fact, CNN reports the folks at Lego have demanded it stop producing the gun, and the President of Culper says he's going to comply with their request.
Fact: it's illegal in the US to make a children's toy that looks like a real gun, but not to make a gun that resembles a toy.
Actress GILLIAN ANDERSON has made a decision --she said on Instagram yesterday that she's "not wearing a bra anymore, and I don't care if my breasts reach my belly button." The reason, according to Gillian: "It's just too (Bleep)ing uncomfortable." The edict came from Gillian when she was answering a question about what kind of clothes she wore during the current lockdown.
It'll be JERRY O’CONNELL replacing former co-host SHARON OSBOURNE on “The Talk.” He'll be the first male co-host on the daytime talk show, although he's been a frequent guest host for the last couple of months.
It's ba-a-a-ack! The show was bagged after the 19th season, but MTV announced yesterday that it’ll be bringing back the series “Cribs” beginning August 11th. This season's show, which explores celebrity homes, is set to include those of ASHLEE SIMPSON and EVAN ROSS, BIG SEAN, CHRISTIAN SIRIANO, JOHNNY WEIR, JOJO SIWA, JORDYN WOODS, KATHY GRIFFIN, MARSAI MARTIN, MARTHA STEWART, NICK YOUNG, NICO TORTORELLA, NICOLE “Snooki” POLIZZI, RICK ROSS, RYAN LOCHTE, SCOTT DISICK, TIA MOWRY, TINASHE, TJ LAVIN and more.
Married SPICE GIRLS singer EMMA BUNTON and her longtime partner, British singer-turned-chef JADE JONES. Emma announced their marriage on Instagram Tuesday. In case you were wondering, the pair does have music in common --he was part of the British boy band DAMAGE, when they first met in 1999. They also have two children together, so it doesn't come as a surprise.
This season of “The Real Housewives of New York” is apparently on hold. The NY Post reports the reason is a decline in ratings for the show, which was ready to film beginning August fifth. Now sources say the show will not begin filming again until early 2022.
On the movie front, it'll be Disney’s and Marvel’s “Black Widow” facing the Warner Brothers sequel “Space Jam: A New Legacy” at the box office this weekend, with experts saying “Black Widow” should take the top spot.
And if you like animated movies, word is out that PRINCE HARRY and MEGHAN MARKLE's Archewell Productions will be doing an animated “family series that centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl, who is inspired by a variety of influential women from history.” Called “Pearl,” it'll be seen in the US on Netflix as part of a multi-year deal which also includes documentaries, feature films, scripted TV shows and children’s series.
