Just last week the Major Leagues debuted a new "Field of Dreams," a stadium in Iowa where the movie was filmed with KEVIN COSTNER, JAMES EARL JONES, RAY LIOTTA and BURT LANCASTER. Now, the Hollywood Reporter says there's a whole TV series coming on Peacock called (of course) "Field of Dreams." The film was based on a novel about "Shoeless" JOE JACKSON, a player for the Chicago White Sox --a team which was called the “Black Sox” after they threw the 1919 World Series for money they received from a gambling syndicate.
Here's something for the women --Deadline reports Discovery-plus will be doing a four-part true crime docuseries called "The Curse of the Chippendales." The four-part series will reportedly be about the murder-suicide of Playboy Playmate of the Month and actress DOROTHY STRATTON and her estranged husband PAUL SNIDER, as well as another murder, both set up by STEVE BANERGEE, who founded the all-male striptease dance troupe. The series begins next month on Discovery-Plus.
The NY Post's Page Six gossip column reports JOHN MELLENCAMP has split from his current girlfriend and is back on the market. “It just didn’t work out,” a source claims. “He’s got a new album coming out [and] his Farm Aid festival coming up (September 25th).”

More trouble for the people of Haiti, after weather services say Tropical Depression Grace will run over or near Haiti on Monday night and Tuesday morning with 5-10 inches of rain. As you know, the country was hit with a massive earthquake Saturday morning, and heavy rain plus all the damage from the quake could produce mudslides.
T-MOBILE may have been hacked, resulting in a massive breach of customer's data including social security numbers, phone numbers, names, physical addresses, unique IMEI numbers, and driver's license information for as many as 100-million users. T-Mobile says it's been made aware of the hacker's claims and have been "actively investigating their validity."
