As we mentioned, the Forbes magazine list of the 400 wealthiest Americans is out, and most of the folks on the list saw their money increase 40-percent over the past year. One change: DONALD TRUMP is no longer on the list. He's not exactly hurting --he still has an estimated $2.5 billion, but that's $400 million short of the cutoff to make this year’s list. Turns out his major investments --big city properties-- have taken a major hit since the pandemic began. In case you're interested, see the list HERE: www.forbes.com/forbes-400
That James Bond movie, "No Time To Die," featuring DANIEL CRAIG as 007 for the last time opens today, and Daniel picked up a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to mark the occasion. It's in front of 7007 Hollywood Boulevard (Get it --007). Other guys who have stars on the Walk of Fame include BARRY NELSON (the first guy to play Bond in a TV version of "Casino Royale"), PIERCE BROSNAN, DAVID NIVEN and ROGER MOORE. Interestingly, SEAN CONNERY does not have a star.
Also in theatres: “Dear Evan Hansen” opens this weekend, and is projected to make $9-12 million.
Breakfast food: Kellogg’s has put together a new limited-edition cereal based on Wendy’s famous fast-food dessert. Starting in December, look for Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal with chocolate-flavored marshmallow pieces and crispy, cocoa-coated round cereal bites. No word on the calorie content yet... LOL.
COVID update: Sadly, the Kansas City Zoo says one of their western lowland gorillas recently had a case of the Delta variant of COVID-19. The other five gorillas at the Zoo are also presumed to be positive, but they've all received the Zoetis vaccine, which was specifically developed for use with animals and are returning to normal.
