Pushing up daisies: Sorry to bring the news that actor EDDIE MEKKA, best known for his role as Carmine --"The Big Ragu"-- Ragusa on the TV show, "Laverne & Shirley," has died. He was 69 and no cause of death was given on his official Facebook fan page.
Sick bay: CARLOS SANTANA has cancelled his December shows after having a heart procedure done. Apparently Carlos asked his wife to take him to the hospital on Saturday because of an issue with his chest. No word on exactly what the problem was, but the surgery was successful and --in his words-- "I’m going to be taking time off for a little bit to make sure that I replenish and rest." So he's cancelling several shows in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino planned for December, and will reportedly get back to performing in January.
JON STEWART has joined the cast of ABC’s "Facts of Life" restaging in a live episode set to air next Tuesday (December 7th). has added another big name to its cast. JENNIFER ANISTON, GABRIELLE UNION, KATHRYN HAHN and ALLISON TOLMAN are also in the cast for the live episode as well. And ABC is also backing it up with a re-staging of the show it came from --"Diff’rent Strokes." The new "Strokes" episode will feature KEVIN HART, JOHN LITHGOW and DAMON WAYANS.
Don't try this at home: MACHINE GUN KELLY sez he accidentally stabbed himself with a knife trying to impress MEGAN FOX. He revealed the blunder on Wednesday night's "Tonight Show," saying was attempting to throw a knife in the air and catch it, but the knife landed in his hand instead. And he showed JIMMY FALLON the scar, saying when he tossed the knife up, he was supposed to watch it, but instead was watching Fox. "The next morning, as soon as she left, I was like, ‘Yo, I need stitches real quick,'" he said.
