Not happening: Disney+'s upcoming "Beauty and the Beast" prequel series has reportedly been put on hold due to creative reasons. Deadline.com reports the scripts and original music were not coming together soon enough to begin shooting this summer in the U.K.
The series was going to star Luke Evans as Gaston and Josh Gad as LeFou, who set off with LeFou’s step-sister, Tilly (Played by Brianna Middleton), after a surprising revelation about her past sets them off on a journey.
Meanwhile, Disney+ says the network will premiere its "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series on May 25th. The network says the series will pick up 10 years after "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith," when his Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), went over to the dark side, becoming the evil Sith, Lord Darth Vader. The network says Hayden will be back in the role as well.
Jennifer Aniston has apparently finished her work on the comedy "Murder Mystery 2" with Adam Sandler. That observation came to light as Jennifer boarded a plane out of Hawaii, where the movie was being shot. She was joined by assistants and other employees as she climbed the stairs into the aircraft. Jennifer reportedly plays a hair dresser and obsessive fan of mystery novels, while Adam played her husband, a New York City police officer.

While we're on the subject, word broke yesterday that Sting has sold his songwriting catalog back to Universal Music for a reported $300-million dollars. The deal follows Springsteen's sale of his catalog to Sony for a reported $500-million and David Bowie's estate selling his for $250-million to Warner Music.
Whoops!! In Portland, England, a 67-year-old man went out on the beach looking to pick up driftwood. But Chris Ford was shocked to see what appeared to be a woman lying motionless on the beach --only to be more than a bit shocked to find out that it was actually a headless sex doll. Ford told reporters "It's a busy shipping channel with loads of boats, so it could have come from one of them... Maybe a fisherman’s wife found it in the cupboard and threw it overboard. It did not have a head, so maybe a perverted fisherman got rid of it but decided to clear it out and keep the head. I can only speculate why,” he said.
