Congrats to Camille Herron, who broke her own women's world record in winning the USA Track and Field 100-mile Championships in Nevada. It took her 12 hours 41 minutes 11 seconds --or about 7:37 minutes a mile to go 100 miles-- and she finished almost half an hour ahead of the first male athlete Arlen Glick, who made it in 13:10:25.
Alec Baldwin may have fired the shot that killed “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins without pulling the gun’s trigger. The Santa Fe District Attorney told Vanity Fair “You can pull the hammer back without actually pulling the trigger and without actually locking it. So you pull it back partway, it doesn’t lock, and then if you let it go, the firing pin can hit the primer of the bullet.”
Here's good news... A guy from Australia has recaptured his former Guinness record by arranging six M&M's into a vertical stack. The record was four, but a couple of guys stacked five last year, but 22-year-old Brendan Kelbie was able to stack six and now holds the record.
Carnival Cruise Lines say they'll make masks optional on cruise ships beginning March 1st after the CDC eased its warnings for cruise ships. However, they did say there may be certain venues and events where masks will be required. The move follows Norwegian Cruise Lines as well as Disney World.
