It's the first day of Lent! What are you giving up?
FYI: If you didn't know, Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (today) and depending on the denomination, ends either on the evening of Maundy Thursday, or at sundown on Holy Saturday, the day before Easter Sunday. So if you're gonna give up something, you only need to do it for about six weeks.
Lindsay Lohan --who starred in “The Parent Trap” and “Mean Girls”-- is having a big week. Not only is she starring in an upcoming Netflix holiday film, the company has also signed her up to star in two additional movies. The first movie is with Chord Overstreet in the holiday film “Falling for Christmas.” No word on the other two films yet.

Lotsa talk about reprisals against Russia after its invasion of Ukraine. A bunch of artists who were scheduled to perform in Russia have cancelled their shows, including Green Day, Louis Tomlinson of One Direction and others.
Apple has also decided to halt sales and limit services in Russia.
And Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot issued a proclamation saying Chicago was suspending its "sister city" and severed ties with Moscow because of the Ukranian invasion.
And it also should come as no surprise that Warner Bros, Disney and Sony have halted the release of their films in Russian cinemas as well. For Warner Brothers, that means cancelling "The Batman," for Disney, it's the Pixar film, "Turning Red," and Sony will not be releasing it's Marvel movie, "Morbius," in the country.
