Gotta love Ellen DeGeneres if the report is true --the NY Post reports that Ellen has handed out “millions of dollars” in bonuses to her staffers now that her final show will be airing May 26th. Part of the reason is that some 30 percent of her employees have worked on the show for over a decade. And, as a plus, Deadline reports Warner Brothers plans to extend the employee's health-care coverage for six months after the program ends as well.
If you're a subscriber to HBO Max, you may get to see "The Batman" earlier than you thought. Various sources have leaked the start date as Tuesday, April 19th, and it will then be on HBO itself a few days later.
Variety reports Amazon is putting together a baking competition series inspired by the works of Dr. Seuss. On the show, contestants will be asked to put together desserts or other creations themed after characters in Dr. Seuss novels, like The Cat in the Hat, The Grinch, and others.
Fans of Meghan Markle will apparently be able to check out podcasts from Prince Harry's wife on Spotify beginning this summer. No word on whether the Prince, himself, will be part of the podcast series, but insiders have said they're looking to produce a weekly podcast featuring “high-profile women.”
Look for the full "Worm Moon" tonight --or exactly 3:18 am Eastern time. Astronomers say it will appear to be a full through Saturday morning.
"Schitt's Creek" fans may want to take a cruise celebrating the show. Flip Phone Events is staging the four-night cruise on the Celebrity Summit from March 30th through April 3rd of next year. The ship leaves from Miami and stops in Key West and Nassau, Bahamas. It's called "Moira's Party Boat, Ew Cruising!" and packages start at $999 a person (based on two people sharing a cabin). Netflix is bringing back Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's TV show, called "Servant of the People," about a Ukrainian high school teacher who becomes president of that country. The show originally ran from 2015 thru 2019.
