MERCEDES-BENZ has announced the EQXX, a new electric car that drives 600 miles on a single charge, twice the typical range. The EQXX is 50 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than another EV that Mercedes-Benz recently released. The magazine Driving described the vehicle's appearance as "a face only an aerodynamicist could love," however.

A Kentucky man has been awarded $450-thousand bucks after his company threw him a surprise birthday party in 2019 despite his warnings that it would trigger stress and anxiety. After the party he filed a lawsuit claiming the party caused him a series of panic attacks because of his anxiety disorders. The next day, he was "confronted and criticized" at a meeting, and accused of "stealing his co-workers joy" and "being a little girl". That caused a second panic attack, after which he was sent home and then fired over concerns about workplace safety. But he won his lawsuit in a two day trial at the end of March, getting $450,000.
Latest Broadway news is they'll be opening a musical based on the 1959 Billy Wilder film “Some Like It Hot.” Broadway vet Christian Borle will play the role originally done by Tony Curtis, with J. Harrison Ghee who's doing Jack Lemmon's role and Adrianna Hicks in the role made famous by Marilyn Monroe. The musical is set in Prohibition-era Chicago and follows two musicians who witness a mob hit and are forced to disguise themselves as women in an all-female band in order to escape the pursuing mobsters.
Movie news --Celine Dion will be acting and singing in the movie "It’s all coming back to Me," which is set to hit theaters on February 10th of next year. She plays a woman who inspires two heartbroken characters --played by Priyanka Chopra and "Outlander's" Sam Heughan-- to fall in love.
Congrats to Jennifer Lawrence, who just had her first baby with husband Cooke Maroney. She talked to Amy Schumer in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine but Amy refused to tell the baby's name: "Jennifer's smart enough not to tell me," she said.
There's a tenth movie in the works for the "Fast and Furious" series, called: "Fast X," according to Vin Diesel. The film will be out in May of next year and includes the regulars except for Dwayne Johnson, who still seems to be publicly feuding with Diesel. Also, look for new cast members including Jason Momoa as the villain and new stars like Brie Larson (who played Captain Marvel), and Daniela Melchior (from The Suicide Squad).
