Too bad you don’t live in Rancho Cordova, California, where an error on the pumps at a gas station had gas selling for just 69 cents a gallon. People were calling friends and family to fill up fast. One person said “It was crazy, It turned into a circus within a matter of minutes.” Turns out the decimal point in the price was mistakenly moved, so $6.99 a gallon for premium became 69 cents a gallon.
PS: The last time gas prices on average were 69 cents a gallon was in 1978.
Probably no surprise that Inflation went up again last month to the highest level in four decades -- 8.6-percent year over year. That’s the largest 12-month increase since the period ending December of 1981.
If you saw the first hearing Thursday from the congressional committee investigating the January 6th attack on the US Capitol last year –there’s going to be more. The next ones will be this morning (Monday) and Wednesday at 10 am, and Thursday at 1 pm. Committee members say there will also be more later this month.
Ozzy Osbourne is scheduled to undergo a major operation today, which will "determine the rest of his life", according to his wife. Sharon said she would be travelling to Los Angeles to be by Ozzy's side. "I have to be there," she said.
Ozzy has Parkinson’s disease and has neck and spine issues following a severe fall in 2019, one that dislodged the metal rods in his body that had been surgically inserted. He also had a life-threatening staph infection in his thumb and a burst blood vessel in his eye, and has been hospitalized with complications from the flu.
The Russian army has lost so many soldiers in its war in Ukraine that it’s run out of room to store the mounting number of dead troops and is now storing its dead soldiers’ corpses in a meat-packing plant in the occupied city of Melitopol, southeast of the capital Kyiv.
