Sucking the life out of the wire services:
LINDSAY LOHAN is tucked safely away in rehab and TMZ.com reports she's not spending time at the Morningside Recovery Center, but the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital. Her lawyer, SHAWN CHAPMAN HOLLEY, revealed that specialists are taking a "fresh look" at her situation to determine if she needs certain prescriptions, but maintains her client is not being weaned off Adderall --a drug used to treat attention deficit disorder. The gossip site originally reported her biggest issues are methamphetamines and opiates.
Editor's Note: Adderall is a touchy little subject. Although ADD certainly isn't a joke, rumors have been swirling in Hollywood for years that actresses just love the drug for one, great reason --it's a stimulant that naturally keeps the pounds off! (Lee)On, off and way-off Broadway:
The JOHNNY DEPP movie, "Alice in Wonderland," did so well at the box office, that it probably wouldn't surprise you to find out that there's a Broadway show in the works using LEWIS CARROLL's fantasy as a premise. Daily Variety magazine says "Alice in Wonderland," which ads call "A New Alice. A New Musical Adventure," will be working out the kinks in Tampa in January, and then in previews beginning Mar 21 for an opening Apr 17 on Broadway.
Stars and their movies:

Former POISON frontman BRET MICHAELS is doing very well, despite the brain hemorrhage. He managed to recover and won "Celebrity Apprentice 3," and taking a break from his current tour, will be on tonight's live "America's Got Talent" results show.
USA Today also reports DONALD TRUMP has picked Bret to co-host the upcoming 2010 Miss Universe Pageant with NBC "Today" show host NATALIE MORALES, Aug 23.
