Idiots or Insane:
Voting results from elections in Brazil are in and they've elected a clown to that nation's legislature.
No, seriously --a professional clown.
FRANCISCO EVERARDO OLIVEIRA SILVA, better known as TIRIRICA the clown, received 1.3 million votes in Brazil's presidential and congressional elections, more than double the votes of the next candidate.
Tiririca started printing on voters by promising to do nothing more in Congress than report back to them on how politicians spend their time.
His slogan, "It can't get any worse."
Oh, and he's illiterate. No, we're not kidding.
In Portuguese, Tiririca means "grumpy."
Editor's note: An illiterate clown who admits he doesn't know what he's doing? Gee, where have I heard that before? (Maiman)When nature calls:
If you have to urinate really, really bad but can't find a toilet --go to Sweden.
The Metro says it just became legal to urinate in public there. The ruling comes after a 45-year-old man was charged with indecency for relieving himself in the open. The guy was initially slapped with a 120-dollar fine. But, he took it to court and won.
That opens the door for thousands of others to answer the call of nature in public without being penalized.
But, according to the ruling, a person can still be charged if someone sees the act and gets offended. (Still)Polling America:

What is the greatest guitar riff of the 21st Century, so far? Total Guitar magazine says it's "Plug In Baby" by MUSE from the band's 2001 album, "Origin Of Symmetry." Here's what made the Top 5:
5. "The Dark Eternal Night" - DREAM THEATER
4. "Knights Of Cydonia" - MUSE
3. "Afterlife" - AVENGED SEVENFOLD
2. "Slither" - VELVET REVOLVER

On tonight's "Glee" episode, titled "Grilled Cheesus," Finn decides he sees Jesus grilled into his cheese sandwich, and the cast swings off into a religious-themed episode. However, seeing religious icons in food is not uncommon... in 2005, a pierogi supposedly depicting Jesus sold for $1,775 on eBay. And in the same year, a pretzel presumably resembling the Virgin Mary sold for $10,600 on eBay.
And in 2004, a grilled cheese sandwich bearing the likeness of the Virgin Mary was purchased for $28,000 by the online casino GoldenPalace.com, which put it on display at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in Hollywood, FL. DIANA DUYSER of Florida said she kept the sandwich on her nightstand for over 10 years, during which time she had excellent luck at the casinos.
The fact that the sandwich remained mold-free during that time is considered, by some, to be proof of the sandwich's miraculous nature.
Tonight's music on "Glee" is not exactly what you'd find in a hymnal or even in the contemporary Christian section of a record store, however:
-Whitney Houston's "I Look to You,"
-Barbra Streisand's "Papa Can You Hear Me,"
-Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young,"
-Joan Osborne's "One of Us,"
-The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand,"
-R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion."
