Attention K-Mart Shoppers

In looking back on my columns, I reminisce on how this year has been filled with travel for me; I find a ton of content from people watching and by eavesdropping. I'm waiting for a flight right now and the gate agent is hilarious. Let's just say he'd like to give you a run for your money as far as working the mic goes. He is digging his announcement mic and has made it his stage to entertain. He is gently rapping, "we gonna clean, prescreen and board a flight...oh yes we are," and he's telling jokes, taking questions and complaints. Brave is the man who opens himself up to complaints right in the middle of the terminal. And the passengers are digging "Rodney" back, in fact his entire eating area is smiling. And so was I, especially when he went to board a flight to Boston and invited all Yankees fans to join the pre-board.

She Sunscreen Tips

• -Sunscreen needs to be applied 30 minutes prior to going outside. It needs time to soak into the skin in order to create a shield.
• -Sunscreen with 50 SPF is the highest she should use. Products with higher SPF have been known to not be as effective.
• -Make sure there is some zinc included in your sunscreen.
• -Use a lot when applying.
• -Reapply often.
