"Which shower is best?" I ask a camper, who just returned with a wet head. Im camping in Pennsylvania on the Agape Farm for Creation-fest. Some camp ground showers have longer lines than others. Yes, people wait in line to enter a concrete closet that offers a sink hose. The more water you want the more you pump the foot pedal. There's a reason many a gal is sporting a ponytail and ball cap here at Creation. If you wear flip flops, bring a clean towel and something sweet smelling; it's really not so bad. The line to wait for these facilities is worse that using them.

Its a very chill atmosphere at our camp area. The kids are playing cards, the counselors are chatting about car insurance and kava; an herbal remedy for stress. As I sit in the middle of about thirty 13-16 year olds, some adults and lots of camp gear, someone from another group enters our site with a can of Spam announcing he's playing "bigger or better," a game where you can trade up if you want to. We all reply that there is nothing bigger and better than Spam! No this is not a kava moment, but a chance to trade our lead counselors' ugly beach towel in for some real nutrition.
