Flip flops have now been labeled as dangerous to your health. Heath.com provides information on how these shoes provident support and encourage bacteria build up on the foot due to exposure to dirty things like staph. It's going to be very difficult to change the passion for this shoe; women love everything from a five dollar pair of Old Navy flops to Fit Flops to high end designer shoes. They are easy to wear, easy to match, reasonably prices and as far as she's concerned, comfortable. There was a small flip flop controversy when The White House released a photo of a group of high school girls with President Bush. The girls were wearing nice dresses and yep, you guessed it, flip flops. This fashion faux pas resonated in many etiquette circles and as a big mistake that bordered on disrespect. A nicer shoe would have been more appropriate; two girls out of this group had on a sweet little pump shoe. What were these girls thinking? They were dressing their norm. I want to know where the adult leader of this group was and what did she have on her feet. Flip flops are not leaving the shoe store anytime soon. So take heed and wash your feet.
