What a beautiful wedding my boss had at his lakefront house. A pontoon boat driven by a 16 year old who has known the bride; Miss Kim since he was a baby started us out. The ceremony was held just up against the water complete with a sand ceremony that joined the happy couple who after their first kiss as husband and wife ran to the boat and hopped a inner tube for a ride around the lake. What fun! Then the potluck began. Every guest brought a dish to share and the plethora of food was insane. This was actually easier for me then deciding on a wedding gift. My orzo artichoke salad is a winner. While waiting in the buffet line I spoke with Jodi a man who is as passion about his hogs as Donald Trump is about finance. Jodi owns 200 hogs at any given time, I learned where they live, how much it costs to buy one,to have it dressed and to fill your freezer with fresh pork. I heard an impression of how they really squeal and the fact that Jodi really misses those hogs when he's away from them for awhile. This day being one of those times. Jodi was just about to get into the mating process when it was my turn at the buffet. I am still thanking God for this perfect timing.
