She could be chauffeuring someone to a guitar lesson, going to her daughters basketball game or traveling to night school. Holiday jobs are for the taking with Kohl's, Target, UPS and more hiring help. My friend Jane works three extra nights at Walmart from now through January so her family can afford Christmas and a cruise in February 2013. Jane has three kids in middle school and works her regular job from 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. Weekends are her time to get ready for her busy week with grocery shopping, laundry, and kids sporting events. Knowing she won't go into debt at Christmas and knowing a cruise in her horizon is motivation enough, she says.
