My friend Michelle's Facebook page states her happiest weekend moment. "While at the Roosevelt Hotel I ran into Dolvett from The Biggest Loser. He was very, very kind."
Watching the The Biggest Loser was a weekly event for her family. She would not text or take calls when this show was on, it was family time. I would wonder what she would eat while watching this show, or ask how anyone could even snack while it was on. I never watched it. So far this season, The Voice and Ted Talks have occupied my viewing time.
I love how meeting a reality show star made Michelle's weekend. A radio personality is a reality star too and meeting you makes the day of many, as well. Whereas we get "busy" and loaded down with phone calls and emails, these are still people that took time out of their day to connect with you for some reason. Just like reality show stars, but on a different scope. Don't let the opportunity go by to connect back on, and off, the air. And maybe the next time you're at the Roosevelt Hotel, someone will post a status exclaiming their excitement in meeting you.
She's not so sure
Studies are showing that Botox injections could reduce the frequency of migraine headaches. She might just want to keep getting these headaches so her insurance will pay for the Botox she can't afford.
