"Mom, I think I have strep throat" was the text I received while my oldest daughter was at work. "Text me a picture of your throat," I replied, and soon enough I see that spider web rash wrapped around her tonsils that I've seen before. All of this happened late on a Saturday night, when the doctors office and pharmacy were closed. The timing is not even Murphy's la, it's just the way life always seems to be. Kids never get sick during regular business hours, their tummies hurt when you are halfway to Grandmas house with two hours left to drive, in the middle of the night and usually after hours on a Friday. This is some of the life clutter we need to cut through on the air: life is ever changing, and we can consistently bring the emotion to life she needs, empathy, happiness, encouragement and hope. No matter what format of music you play the audience needs this in your own special way. So bring it, and include a squirt or two of hand sanitizer.
