Balance

Getting perspective and understanding where our demo is seasonally, where she is coming from, and what she's doing builds relationship. I read many mom blogs, and many of my friends are, of course, moms. To pin point one type of mom to talk to is crazy, there are so many types of women, and their families are all so different. Finding a balance is the goal for her, and you. Many moms say they seek balance, and being home with their kids is what they love most.

But they also love their job. Whenever my friend Sondra realizes she's off balance (which happens often), she writes down lists of what her top priorities are, and she tries to cut the rest. This is a smart task for not only our personal lives, but radio shows, too. What are your top on-air priorities, and what is your demo doing?

It's crazy to think that summer clothes are already on a clearance rack, and the fall semester starts sooner than we want. Show up at her kids baseball game and remind her she's hitting a big home run just for being there.
