The cliche spa gift for mom is just that: a regular cliche, and something she should be doing for herself anyway. Hello self-care, I love that you entered into our stream of consciousness! Being mindful and taking care of yourself consistently is the right message, and woman are receiving it. I love hearing that my friends are scheduling more regular massages and facials. With an overload of meal prep options, mom shouldn't be the only one responsible for dinner anymore. Come on even Walmart and Target offer meal kits now. Teaching her mom how to use YouTube TV so she could eliminate cable was my girlfriend Jill's gift to her mom, along with some thoughtful flowers and essential oils. There's a lot of truth behind our gifts, but it's the thought that counts.
