We all have one or two little tricks up our sleeve.

My friend, Brenda, can make $100 worth of groceries feed a family of five for a whole week.

Me? I have a knack for finding cheap international trips. In 2019, five months out from my daughter’s 30 birthday, I found a travel deal for two non-stop roundtrip airline tickets to Paris, including 5 nights in a hotel in the Opera district, all for $300.

But then, COVID happened. I kept pushing back the date. The next thing I know, I’m wearing a face mask looking at a twinkling Eiffel Tower on a chilly November night.

Keep living, and keep sharing the experiences you get, they bring hope to an audience that receives mixed messages.
