I got a text from my hairdresser sharing her COVID diagnosis. A few minutes later, I received another text message from my pharmacy canceling my scheduled COVID test, citing a temporary closure due to staff shortages caused by COVID.
As a fully vaccinated and boosted person, I'm still overwhelmed by the blaring headlines sharing the breakthrough cases that continue to happen. And now, a new strain of this virus has been found in France. I want to say I'm still going to Paris in the spring. But as I'm bringing my hairdresser some chicken soup, I feel COVID exhaustion kick in and it seems not worth it.
Positivity still reigns in my heart as I contemplate a virus free talk zone. Be well, stay well; be positive, stay positive. @Beth Bacall
