Cabinets

Painting my kitchen cabinets was a much more reasonable way to refresh my space, instead of buying new cabinets priced at an amount that equaled a semester at college. Numerous TikTokers convinced me I could do this project as they shared so many easy tips and tricks. I was inspired and set out to make the magic happen.

The minute you start a project like this you must have a planned finish date and time. I’m serious, you must do this or the frustration of the challenge will get to you. Plus, anything that interferes with a family's kitchen in general can really upset the rhythm of the daily schedule. The minute I removed and labeled every cabinet door I knew the countdown clock had started.

In addition to planning out the colors (dove white and kendall charcoal) I planned out the radio stations and podcasts I'd listen to while painting; the personalities and music really got me to the finish line in time. And, an ever flowing pot of coffee.
