I received some back to school catalogs in the mail over the weekend, complete with sharp dressed kids on the cover sporting new lunch boxes and happy faces. Right into the recycling bin they went. I am so not ready to start thinking about moving into another season. I briefly considered using these catalogs as a reminder to my kids that the end was in site but we are in our day camp groove and it seems unnecessary. Just the thought of algebra could easily ruin the day. However there are some women who embrace these catalogues and use them as a head start in seeing what's available and at what price. These superwomen usually scope out the best deals. I prefer to stay in denial at least until we take a summer vacation. With so many different mail or "in" boxes to received correspondence; what's the best way to reach her? Some of us are online with several different accounts set up to receive specific items. I've one friend who set up an account for the sole purpose of receiving coupons, it's less confusing for her this way and makes sense. She has 6 different accounts including her work email and Facebook. And lets not forget snail mail. Online is really the best way to reach people but not everyone has gone paperless. Correspond with her off air somehow today. Put something up on Facebook that will make her laugh or send a coupon, direct her to your own email then respond when she write. She loves receiving a reply from you, maybe add a picture or helpful website. Just don't mention back to school.

She's safe
There is a sunscreen designed for every body part: which should she choose? Some experts say the Alyria brand is best under makeup, while others swear by Aveeno or Dermalogica. Regardless of who recommends what, all experts agree that sunscreen should be used anytime the skin will be exposed to sun. The American Cancer Society suggests you "Slip, Slop, and Slap." Slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen (SPF 15 or higher), and slap on a hat. In other words, cover up! Most women remember to put sunscreen on their face if it's in their daily moisturizer, but she tends to forget the rest of her body until it's too late and she's at a friend's wedding wearing a halter dress while frying in the sun. SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. Face-protecting sticks are used more on kids, but she opts for two or more different products on her face and body. Scalp protection is big this year; many sunscreens are promoted as being safe on your scalp too.
