Value Of Car: Maybe Fifteen Or Twenty Grand. Value Of Publicity: Priceless
-
Pastor Terry Jones didn't burn a Quran, as you know. But in the heat of the debate, former New York Giants center Brad Benson's car dealership in Central Jersey did a radio ad offering Jones a new car if he didn't burn the Quran. And now Benson's making good on the offer, and Jones says he'll donate it to an organization that helps abused Muslim women. So the jokey promotion turns out to be a win-win: the dealer gets publicity, the pastor looks generous, and the charity gets some value. (Newark Star-Ledger)
