An airline in Australia has figured out another way to hit you with a fee, and this one is before you even buy a ticket. They're selling "memberships" that simply alert you to fare deals before the general public. That's it. You don't get any guarantee that you'll be able to buy those tickets, just that you'll know about a fare sale the day before. And people are paying it (it's A$29.95), so expect others to start charging for the privilege of knowing how much a fare costs.
