It's Not As Lucrative To Be The Professionally Offended These Days
-
The Parents Television Council, the blue-noses who panic and protest over everything even remotely adult on TV and have prompted the FCC to fine broadcasters a lot of money over the years, is having financial woes. It's an interesting tale of how they do business, and accusations by a former executive there. Bottom line: Their influence is waning, the money isn't pouring in any more, and no matter how much they jump up and down and scream over rude cartoons and "Sh-t My Dad Says," they're not what they used to be.
