Yes, Google's Eric Schmidt really did say that if you don't like Google Street View showing your house, you should move. Google's explanation doesn't wash and doesn't address the sheer arrogance. But it's not like they're alone in that attitude. If you're hoping that the CEOs of any company truly care about you, in privacy matters or otherwise, you're going to be disappointed. Oh, and here's the other part: He's right. The outside of your house IS public. It always HAS been. I can take a photo of your house from the street if I want to. Anyone can.
