The three Philly teens who cut classes, went down to Center City, and, on a dare, beat a Starbucks manager to death on the subway platform have been sentenced to 12 1/2 to 25 years. I guess that's because he technically died of asthma triggered by the beating, but these guys, 17 and 18 years old, showed no real remorse; this seems like a light sentence for a senseless murder.
