A tire chain in Michigan is known for flying massive American flags outside their shops, but one town says that the flag is illegal. Too big. Could be construed as an ad for the store, since it draws attention. And that's probably true -- it's less patriotic than it is "look at me!" -- but so what? Unless it makes a lot of noise that disturbs neighbors, or snaps into traffic and causes accidents, how can you tell someone they can't fly a large flag? (Fox News)
