The Word 'Cage' Should Have Been A Tipoff That They Were On The Wrong Track
-
Another pair of spectacular parents here: They allegedly kept their two autistic kids in a caged room, unable to leave without the parents' opening the door. The kids were put in diapers because, the mom said, they didn't know how to go to the bathroom. And asked why they were in a cage, dad said, "What am I supposed to do? Let them run around the house? What kind of (expletive) parenting is that? They are both autistic." Granted, it's very hard to cope sometimes with special needs kids, but you HAVE to know that caging them is wrong.
