Every Generation Thinks It's The First In Everything
-
I know that the economy makes people think that this is somehow new, but it's not a new thing that people are graduating college and having to settle for low-wage jobs like barista instead of doing what they thought they'd be doing. They have a name for it: "mal-employment." I have a name for it: life. It was the same when I graduated a long time ago: My first job out of school was laughably low-paying. You take the job to pay the bills and keep trying until you find something better. (Chicago Tribune)
