If Oprah Picks It For Her Book Club, He's All Set
-
Guy in Utah showed up to a well-known antiques appraiser saying he had a book and he thinks it might be worth something. And, well, maybe: It's a 500-year-old book. It's the "Nuremberg Chronicle," published in 1493 and considered one of the earliest books of the 15th century. That's the good news. The bad news is that the book is in such bad shape, it isn't worth remotely what a more intact edition would be. Instead of millions, it'll likely fetch less than $50,000. That's still a lot of money. (MSNBC; Thanks to Ron Farber for the link)
