Don Bellisario is the guy who's created some of CBS' biggest hits ever, including "JAG" and "Magnum P.I.," and, oh, yeah, "NCIS." He got dumped from the latter, allegedly after clashing with Mark Harmon, and then the network spun off "NCIS: Los Angeles." Now he wants to be paid for the spinoff, which he anticipates the network will try to claim isn't a spinoff at all, despite sharing a name and a general concept and having premiered as a "back-door pilot" episode of "NCIS." They're crafty that way. (Los Angeles Times)
