It's The Same Fare Whether It Stops Or Not

Ideally, trains stop at the end of their run, especially when the end involves the tracks running out and a big concrete barrier. The PATH train -- that's a subway that connects Manhattan with Newark, Jersey City, and Hoboken -- didn't stop at the Hoboken terminal, and crashed into the barrier, injuring 34 people. This doesn't help sell the idea of riding mass transit to people who prefer to be in control of their own safety in their cars, does it? (Newark Star-Ledger)
