Drugs, Mexican Food... Same Difference
-
Guy got arrested for cocaine possession, 91 pounds worth. That, at least, is what tests said he had in his car when he was pulled over on the freeway with his hazard lights flashing, but the tests were wrong. That "cocaine" turned out to be tortilla dough. He was bringing food to his sister, overshot the exit, and had pulled over to figure out how to get back. The cops say that they can't think of anything the deputies should have done differently. How about looking at what would obviously be food and not arresting the guy for it? Think the fact that the driver happened to be Latino had anything to do with their suspicions?
