A poll says that a majority of New York City residents under 30 are planning to move out of the city. Why? Jobs are scarce, and taxes are high. The city could do something about the latter, and cutting business taxes, too, might help the former. But they won't. And for every young disillusioned person who bolts, another starry-eyed dreamer will take his or her place. (New York Daily News)
