I Don't WANT To Spend My Leisure Hours In An Amateur "Washington Week In Review"

A new book by a professor who studied the way people use Starbucks says that it's stifled conversation and interaction because people sit there and use Wi-Fi or get it to go instead of sitting there conversing about current events. He'd prefer if they had no Wi-Fi and made you sit there and read newspapers and talk with the others there at a big roundtable. Is that what a coffee shop is for? And what was it like BEFORE Starbucks? Oh, yeah, they had counters and to-go cups and nobody talked.
