Since When Is 'Drinking A Lot' A Medical Issue?
-
A top Republican in Idaho, the Senate Caucus Chairman, is out on bond and searching for an explanation after he was arrested for felony truck theft and misdemeanor DUI after cops said he was found in a truck towing a trailer and had tried to drive off with it. He had a 0.15 BAC, just short of twice the limit, and his family is apparently trying to come up with a medical defense. Witnesses say he walked out of a golf club after drinking, happened upon an SUV with the keys still in it, drove off, jackknifed it, and ended up in the back seat of the SUV. So much for his political future... wait, didn't George W. Bush... never mind. (Idaho Statesman)
