Somehow, THEIR Brand Is Still Around
-
Remember that list some website does ever year, the "10 brands that won't be around" next year? They have a new one for 2012. They're rarely right. This year, they think Sears is a goner, and Sony Pictures, American Apparel, Nokia, Saab, A&W All-American Foods Restaurants, Soap Opera Digest, Sony Ericsson, MySpace, and Kellogg's Corn Pops. Remember, last year's included Readers Digest -- still here. Kia -- still here. RadioShack -- still here. Merrill Lynch -- still here. BP -- amazingly, still here. T-Mobile -- endangered if the merger happens, but thus far, still here. Zale -- still here. Blockbuster -- barely here, but here. Dollar Thrifty -- still here. Moody's -- still here. In other words, they went 0-for-10 with the possibility of 1-for-10 if T-Mobile's merger goes through. Not a good track record. So why does anyone listen to them?
