Maybe They See Brian Wilson's Beard And Think It's A Nest

They're not really sure how seagulls know to show up at AT&T Park in San Francisco in the 9th inning of every game. The birds are a problem for obvious reasons, including hygiene, but they show up not in the sixth inning or seventh inning but the ninth. It's like they know that they'll be able to regain control at that time. Is it the thinning crowd or a sixth sense? They may actually use falcons to drive away the sea gulls, which seems to be replacing one avian threat with another. (Bay Citizen via New York Times)
