Although We Always Have The Queasy Feeling That We Somehow Got Fleeced
-
Look, you know that I'm a fairly die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, but you're going to have to help me here: Since when is Kevin Kolb considered such a star that it was hugely anticipated news that he'd be traded to Arizona as soon as the lockout was over? I mean, look, he's not a horrible quarterback at all, and he could be a solid player, but he never quite seemed ready to take over even when Eagles fans were calling for McNabb to be traded or benched. He'll have one huge advantage in Arizona, wearing number 11; Anyone who can reach within several feet of Larry Fitzgerald stands to have a fairly decent QB rating. But if they're expecting the second coming of Joe Montana, Kolb ain't it. Okay, enough parochial Philadelphia sports blather for now. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
