They'd Have To Pay ME To See 'The Smurfs'

Box office figures are up, but from fewer tickets. That means that your premium 3D movies are generating money (from higher budgets), but a lot of people seem to be priced out of the theater. Surely, I haven't gone to see anything in months, and we used to go a couple of times a month. When evening shows can cost as much as $16 even without 3D, I'd rather wait and see the movies on HBO or through Netflix or Redbox. Nothing's that great that I can't wait several months to a year to see it. (New York Times)
