The Buck Stops Someplace Else, Apparently
-
While the Dow plunged up to 600 points Monday, the President finally reacted... in "remarks added to the daily schedule." He made general statements about the problems being "solvable" and "we know what we have to do to solve them" and blah blah blah. It's all very "we'll appoint a committee." Is this a time for that, or is it time for the President to act Presidential and take on the problem head-on? He hasn't even suggested a solution, hasn't offered a plan, has just sat back, let Congress and the Senate bicker, and let it happen. Did you expect a more take-charge guy? (CNN)
